As a country, Scotland is renowned for its natural larder and here at The Fleece we pride ourselves on utilising some of the very best produce available to us. Our desserts are made using milk, cream and butter from Stirling and free-range eggs from the Lothians. Scallops from Orkney, fish landed in Scrabster and Peterhead, Perthshire roe deer, potatoes, fruit & Vegetables from both the Scottish Borders and Fife (when in season) and our lamb, game and beef from the Scottish Borders. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure our seasonally changing menus showcase only the best of Scottish produce available throughout Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

Food at The Fleece combines the very best of local produce with the use of both modern and traditional French culinary techniques. We strive to provide high quality, freshly cooked dishes to our customers within a friendly, relaxing and informative dining experience. Our Lunch Menus cater for those with a hankering for some well executed pub classics. There is also the option of our 3 different sharing platters that can be accompanied by a craft ale from our local brewery, an artisanal gin from our rapidly expanding collection or a bottle of carefully selected wine. For “foodies” who enjoy a more formal experience, our Dinner Menus and Tasting Evenings are perfect – we really do cater for everyone!
